Andrea is a Casinera. She found dancing in a time where she needed to have fun and let loose. Her interest for Cuban music and dance all started at weekly Salsa nights at Skybar. Dancing truly saved her life and she is so thankful for all the relationships she’s gained. Her passion has culminated in her involvement with Waterfront Dancing and the Ville Casineras performance team. She is trained as Casino and Rueda instructor and represents the Ville Casineras. Her artist on repeat is Maykel Blanco y Su Salsa Mayor. Current specific interests of hers are Choreography and Suelta.
Alexa is a Casinera. Her interest in Cuban music and dance started with the many hours she spends with her sister. Dancing has helped her grow so much. She used to be so afraid to dance that she would always sit back and watch, but always wanted to try it. The dancing community was so welcoming and patient that she ended up finding a really special place in the community. In December 2022, she joined the Ville Casineras, and recently had her first performance. Her artist on repeat is Nic N’ Ntaya. Current specific interests of hers are to learn more about Rueda structures and learning to lead in Casino.
